| These are the items that are handy or nice to have for your impression. War Department Pamphlet 21-13, August 1944: $21 Over 175 pages of life as a soldier in 1944, designed to adjust citizens to becoming soldiers. Includes uniform regulations, basic description of soldiers life and responsibilities. Excellent copies. A great research and impression tool. Handkerchiefs: $1.50 These are brown handkerchiefs very similar to the WWII kind. Foot locker posters: 4 for $12 These are color copies of a Dec and July 1944 poster with a Vargas type girl on them, and a calendar. Also, I have one reminding soldiers to take care of their gas masks. Military Type Whistles: $5 Virtually no other WWII vendor sells these. This is what the platoon, sqaud or team leader for any good GI unit needs for command and control. These are plastic and dated 1971, but come with a lanyard and are in the same style as WWII. At 1 foot they look like the WWII whistles. |
