Odds and Ends
Sometimes you get things that just don't fit!

Sometimes you just collect or acquire things and you don’t
know why.  Maybe some of you might need these pieces.

Modern Plastic Canteen: $10
with no cup but modern good
condition cover:

British “Demobilization” coats.  $30 These are original
overcoats that were given to servicemen in Britain as they left the
service.  They are similar in color to US Pinks, excellent condition:
Could be worn as US officer’s overcoats with addition of epaulets
or even worn with civilian attire, Broad Arrow Marked, dates from
the 60s, new un-issued condition.

Coat #1 marked as Size 11, men’s 5’ 9” to 5’ 10”  breast 39-40
length 46.    It fits me well, I would call it a 44 Regular

Coat #2: marked as size 10, still fits me well, I would call it a size
44 R

British RAF overcoat $30  Original from the 60s, double
breasted, dark blue material, I call it a size 42, excellent condition:

French Helmet:  $20 I thought these were similar the US ones but
they are different shaped, and the liner seems to only fit this
helmet.  The web chin strap is frayed, and no sweatband.   It
seems to feel better walking backwards than forwards for some
odd reason.  This is an original, genuine, one of the kind (at least
with me) French Army helmet from the 50s.
